“Why do you ask me to confirm my appointment?”
E-mails. Text messages. Phone messages. We receive so many of these types of communications every day, so it is easy to overlook one that might be of importance – such as a reminder e-mail and/or phone message for an appointment. There is a fee for failing to show up for an appointment, as well as cancelling under 48 hours, so we want to be sure that you have received our message. You can confirm your appointment by replying to the e-mail reminder or by calling our office directly.
“Why am I asked to call from the parking lot when I arrive for my appointment?”
We are unique in that we only schedule one patient at a time. When you are a patient in our office, your entire appointment is dedicated only to you.
Although calling ahead became a routine procedure during the pandemic, we decided to keep that protocol in place, even after restrictions were lifted. Therefore, we still ask that patients please wait in their car and call us when they have arrived. This allows us to completely focus on you, your treatment and maintain your privacy throughout your visit. Additionally, we do have some patients who need specific accommodations. Your cooperation in calling ahead ensures that all patients are comfortable in our office.
