A significant number of Americans do not visit the dentist due to fear or anxiety. For many, just the thought of going to the dentist can bring on those feelings of uneasiness. All too often, people will put off appointments...sometimes living with discomfort in the process. Does this describe you? If it does, you are not alone!
Dental anxiety is different for everyone; therefore, we encourage you to talk to us so we can fully understand your individual situation. We truly want to help you feel comfortable going to the dentist again! So, how and where do we start?
BEFORE YOU VISIT OUR OFFICE, VISIT OUR WEBSITE
Sometimes fear of the unknown can make anxiety worse. We invite you to browse the photos and information within our website so you can familiarize yourself with our office. Head over to our Meet Us, Our Mission and Our Practice pages to learn more about us and our practice. Write down any questions you have so we can answer them for you when you come for your visit.
TALK TO US
When we see a patient for the first time, we will ask what brought them to us, however, it is equally important for us to understand what kept them away! Perhaps you had a negative experience in the past, or are fearful of certain procedures. The more we know, the better we are able to help you.
SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE
Once we have gathered all our information, we will discuss what options are available to help you regain control of your dental health. Although you may be excited to begin and would like everything done quickly, it is important to remember that it took you a long time to get to this point. Changes will not happen overnight, but they will happen. Patients are often amazed at how good they feel as their oral health improves.
WE SEE ONE PATIENT AT A TIME...YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!
We had a simple vision when we opened back in 2012, and that was to treat each patient in our office individually - which is why we only schedule one patient at a time. When you are a patient in our office, your entire appointment is dedicated only to you. It is no coincidence that no other patients are in our office when you are - we have always booked our schedule like that on purpose - from day one!
And remember…our office is a “no judgement” zone! If it has been a while since you last visited us, we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable and help get you back on track.
Questions? There are several ways to reach out to us! You can reach us by phone at (781) 942-2020, by e-mail at info@drkhull.com, or by clicking on the Contact link to message us right through our website. If you are ready to visit us, you can also send us an Appointment Request.
